Huawei to Update its Interface to EMUI 9.0 Globally on November 10

Huawei has been working on updates and technological advancements because companies need to keep up with the world. Announcement for its latest user interface was on the IFA or Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin (International radio exhibition Berlin, a.k.a. ‘Berlin Radio Show’) this year. EMUI 9.0 is said to launch on November 10th, globally.

This year IFA Berlin was huge for Huawei.  The Chinese company made some other big announcements at the event other than that of EMUI 9.0.  It unveiled the Mate 20 Lite and introduced the new Kirin 980 chipset. Huawei 9.0

To test it out and give the customers a glimpse of its new works, the UI beta program began on October 17, 2018. The interface is based on Android Pie and is the most common interface in all of Huawei mobile phones as well as tablets. According to Huawei EMUI 9.0 will be a “simple, enjoyable and consistent” software and there are some new introductions to it. It will bring GPU Turbo 2.0, quicker app starts and password protected vault. EMUI also brings a travel assistant by its network management software, HiVision. There is another feature, the Digital Wellbeing. It will be your personal caretaker to help you limit yourself from technology. It will record and tell you how much time are you spending in front of your screens.

Huawei 9.0

CEO of Huawei, Richard Wu announced via Chinese social media site Weibo the date for the rollout of the update will be 10th November, this year. Owners of six Huawei phones and 3 Honor phones will get to enjoy the new user interface. Huawei Mate 10, Huawei Mate 10 Pro, Huawei Mate 10 Porsche Design, Huawei Mate RS Porsche Design, Huawei P20, Huawei P20 Pro are  the Huawei phones that will get the update. Furthermore, in phones under Honor brand, Honor10, Honor View 10, and Honor Play are on the list to be updated to EMUI 9.0.

This new user interface is based on Android Pie. You can expect a better system response time. Operations will run more smoothly, avoiding lags and hangs. If you like to play games on your phone there is good news for you.  Because, GPU Turbo 2.0 focuses on optimization, ensuring extreme and heavy apps steamroll evenly. Moreover,   Screen and Android Dashboard will be used in monitoring the screen usage. Since EMUI is based on the latest OS by Google, it will also have Adaptive Battery, which means smart usage of the battery to let it run for long hours.
