Samsung was about to release the Oreo update for Samsung Galaxy A5 (2017) in the previous week. However, sources have revealed that the update for A5 (2017) as well as other Samsung devices have also been delayed. Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge are the other two models that are about to receive the update. According to official sources, both of these flagship devices will receive their Android 8.0 updates n May 18, 2018.

Samsung has also named few other devices that will be receiving the Oreo update soon after Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge. The following is the list of Samsung smartphones that will be receiving the update.

  • Samsung Galaxy A7
  • Samsung Galaxy A5
  • Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017)

According to sources, all of these smartphones will be receiving their Oreo updates on June 1. The most surprising entry in this list was the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 which will also receive an Oreo update. The expected size of the update can be around 1.2 GB. According to experts, the new update will bring numerous features to the users. The following list is a glimpse of all those amazing features in Android 8.0 Oreo.
