Huawei To Unveil 7nm Kirin 990 Chipset With 5G Modem In Q1 2019

As we know that this chipset of kirin 980 with the AI features and having a 1.4 Gbps downloading speed was previously introduced by Huawei. However, according to the sources, in Mate 20 series, this chipset was used and also it is expecting to be used in some upcoming flagships as well.

But somehow, the Chinese company make their working on the making of chipset kirin 990. According to the latest reports, the company is all busy in building a chipset on the 7nm processor as well as the reports also tells that the manufacturers HiSilicon has spent almost CNY 200 Million ($28 Million) in analysis and improvement.

Huawei declared it Kirin 980 SoC at the earlier IFA of this year and the key trading detail was the divisions first 7nM chip that gives energy and power gains.

This chipset utilizes 8-Core CPU form with 2x high-performance Cortex-A76 and more 2x power-efficient Cortex-A76 cores.

It was the systems first ever dual-NPU chipset alight among Mali-G76 GPU. It allows Dual ISP with 46 % achievement upgrade and appears with several features like HDR color photograph technology, Multi-pass sound cut and with motion tracking.

People should have to wait for a few days or more, when the company is ready to unveil the details about the latest chipset.
